Just some suggestions because I'm getting the iP4000 printer to work for me even though I initially thought it wouldn't. Maybe you could still try installing the latest Canon driver again anyway. 3) Possibly it makes a difference if you have been doing OS Upgrades instead of Clean Installs if that might somehow preserve the latest Canon driver. However the Mac (OS X 4.4) can't seem to find the printer. It all worked fine under windows (and still does, from my office Windows XP machine).
